COVID-19 – Precautions and Changes to Business As Usual

At Lounge Lovers we take our responsibility to the community, our customers and our staff very seriously. We have introduced a number of measures to ensure we minimise the risk of our activities contributing to the spread of COVID-19.

When we contact you to arrange your delivery we will also ask you 3 questions:

  1. Are you in self-isolation?
  2. Have you been overseas in the past 14 days?
  3. Do you have any cold like symptoms?

If you answer yes to any of these, we will need to carry out a contact-less delivery.

If you would prefer a contactless delivery, regardless of your answers above, please let us know and we will facilitate this.

For all contact-less deliveries our team will call you when they are close by and arrange with you where you would like your items to be delivered. Once the have dropped your items off they will call you to let you know that your items are there.

Each driver is cleaning / sanitising their hands before and after each delivery to ensure customers complete safety is in mind

Dispatch vs Delivery

On the product page for each item you will see either “Instock” or “Dispatched on….”.

All Instock items will be dispatched from our warehouse within 1-2 working days if you live in the Sydney and Melbourne metro areas.

If the item has a dispatch date, this is the date that the item(s) will leave our warehouse. If you live in the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide metro areas your item can be delivered on the dispatch date if you select this in the checkout. If you live outside these areas, the dispatch date is the date the item(s) will leave our warehouse. Due to current conditions, the dispatch date on the item(s) product page may change. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible.
For custom orders and products ‘on order’ please allow up to 16 weeks for your item to be dispatched from our warehouse.
We have 3 warehouses located in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane and depending on where you are located, the delivery time frame may vary. We’ve outlined the estimated delivery times below.

 

Delivery Service

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro - Lounge Lovers Delivery Team

At Lounge Lovers, we use our in-house delivery team for all deliveries to the wider Sydney metro, Melbourne metro and Brisbane metro areas

For our Lounge Lovers deliveries, we will always call, text or email you by 6pm the day prior to your arranged delivery date to confirm your allocated 3-hour delivery timeslot. All orders require a signature on delivery, unless we are instructed otherwise (i.e. to leave your order at your door) prior to delivery. We will always try to deliver at a time to best suit our customers. We know you are busy during the week, so we are happy to deliver on Saturdays as well as during the week, Monday-Friday. Once your order is confirmed, we’ll contact you to arrange the best time for your delivery.

Out of Metro Deliveries and all other states

For all deliveries outside the Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane metro zone we utilise the help of our partner couriers to delivery your products safely to your door. Please note that interstate deliveries are delivered door to door only, not into your property. For our partner courier deliveries, information about your dispatch will be emailed to you when your item leaves our warehouse, including your tracking number. Our courier company will then also contact you by text or email prior to delivery to advise you of your delivery date. All orders require a signature on delivery, unless we are instructed otherwise (i.e. to leave your order at your door) prior to delivery.

 

Delivery Times

Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane Metro

If you live in Sydney metro or Melbourne metro all in-stock items will be delivered to you on day of dispatch. In cases where your item is not in stock in your closest warehouse, your product may take up to an extra 16 days to arrive with you as it needs to be transferred from one of our other warehouses.

Out of Metro Deliveries and all other states

Delivery timeframes will vary based on where you are located. Below is an approximate delivery time for each state

  • Rest of NSW: 1-10 days
  • Rest of VIC: 1-10 days
  • QLD: 4-14 days
  • NT: 7-21 days
  • SA: 4-14 days
  • TAS: 4-14 days
  • WA: 7-21 days
  • ACT: 1-10 days

 

Delivery Delays

If there are any delays or other problems at all with your order we'll get in touch with you as soon as possible. Due to current conditions, the dispatch date on the item(s) product page may change. If this happens, we will contact you as soon as possible.

 

Warehouse Pick Ups

Please note that collections from our Sydney Warehouse (28 Lyn Parade, Prestons, NSW, 2170) and our Melbourne Warehouse (4 Water Road, Preston, VIC 3072) are possible by prior arrangement only and that a minimum 24h notice is required. Find out more about contact info and opening hours here
